Your Bio

Hello, and welcome to my website. First, a bit about me ~ I am a local photographer who is undertaking a new venture called "Portraits For Humanity.". Photography has always been one of my passions and to other people, a luxury their families cannot afford. In the belief it is better to give than to receive, I am offering my gift of photography to anyone who is underprivileged, poor, low-income students, senior citizens, and anyone who is needy. I can only afford to do a few pictures for each family; this is not intended to photograph parties, weddings, engagements, maternity and/or childbirth pictures, etc. I hope you understand. If anyone has ideas to help promote this project, please reach out and let’s all attempt to make a difference in our communities.

If you, or anyone you might come in contact with through church, your neighborhood, or through word of mouth would like to have a free family portrait, graduation picture, or a portrait of an ailing family member, please have them contact me to get their special gift. We have recently contacted the I.A.P. (Inland Aides Project) and they are excited about our service. They have numerous people who have requested portraits of themselves for their loved ones. We also, have made contact with several High Schools in the area and they are interested in our "Portrait Scholarships"

If you are a photographer and would like to offer your service, I feel we could make this a real success and spread more goodwill to people in need. It would be great to have photographers from all over join this cause to help the less fortunate - if interested email me, send your picture and contact info and I will add you to the list. We are working under the Oasis Church umbrella thanks to Pastor Steve we can anchor on the Church's tax i.d. no. Anyone who would like to donate can get a tax deduction! Please contact me for information. To those photographers I have talked to, please forward your info so I can update the website.

Thank you and may God look after you and the less fortunate.

Andy Amacher
Founder 2008
